P.Y.: Alex, when did you start dancing? Probably with a very early age as you are very flexible? A.S.: Yes, I started at six with my mum. I also played tennis for a long time when I was small but my mum asked me if I wanted to try dancing. P.Y.: Is your mother a dancer? A.S.: Yes, my mum is a teacher of dance. She has a school “Roxton” in the Czech Republic and we do also a ballet in Sweden. It is small but… Ok… Then I tried dancing. I did both dancing and tennis for a long time and it was hard, very difficult to combine so I chose dancing. And I also tried ambitions for a dance at Conservatory and now I have changed school and want to continue to learn dancing. P.Y.: Where, at the Conservatory? A.S: No, I finished the school there. Now I am with Bohemia Ballet and we will also work for the State Opera in Prague. And it is also my different work but also dancing- I do hip hop and I do this with my mum. It is like my second life, my second job for dancing. I started it when I was young. It is different from ballet but I think, it is dancing as well and it is not important what kind of dancing you do. Y.P.: How do you see yourself in the future? A.S.: I want to continue dancing ballet. I want to achieve some big results. And I also want to continue with hip hop. I can try some auditions in other countries, maybe on the other side of the world. Nobody knows… Y.P.: New Zealand, America? A.S.: Maybe New York, America. Germany is very good for dancing ballet. There are a lot of theatres… England, Austria… Y.P.: Are you going to open your dancing school in the future? A.S.: Yes, I think so but I don’t want to plan anything special and direct except dancing. Only dancing. I would like to do my best and be happy. Y.P.: Good luck, Alex! Y.P.: Good luck, Alex! |
