Sandra Danielova is a ballet dancer whose manner of dancing has a great potential and elements of educational dancing background so beautifully acquired from her skillful teachers among whose are well-known names such as Petr Zuska and Pavel Smok.

Sandra was born in Prague. From 2002 to 2010years she studied at the Dance Conservatory of Prague where she got her diploma and graduation. She has toured with the Royal Ballet Academy in The Hague, Russia and China. She has also participated in the International Ballet Competition in Poland. At present Sandra performs with a dance ballet group” Bohemia”.

Y.P: Sandra, could you tell us about your dancing school?

S.D.: I was studying at Prague Conservatoire contemporary dance my last year when Mr.Gaydecka saw me and invited to take part in the festival. It was a difficult year as almost every day of the week we had open classes and the first year of the festival was my last year at the Conservatoire.

Y.P.: Does it mean you have taken a part in the festival twice?

S.D.: Yes, it is the second year for me.

Y.P.: Do you travel a lot?

S.D.: Yes, I have been to Poland, Germany, Russia, China, Holland and South America.

Y.P.: It is interesting that you have been to Russia…

S.D.: Yes, in Volgograd.

Y.P.: Did you dance there?

S.D.: Yes, we were in a Russian dancing school.

Y.P.: Was it something like student exchange programme?

S.D.: Yes.

Y.P.: Did you like it there?

S.D.: Yes… it is ok.(laughing)

Y.P.: What about your future plans, will you take part in more festivals?

S.D.: I will certainly take part in this festival again.

Y.P.: Is it the same time next year?

S.D.: We hope so.

Y.P.: What is your next step in developing your talent in dancing?

S.D.: I work with Laterna Magica Theatre which is in someway

a part of The National Theatre. It is contemporary dance and a contemporary stage. And I also work in ensemble of Black- light Theatre which consists mostly from conservatoire students.
