"...Trio String Ladies firstly appeared as a group Inflagranti which members are Eliska Dvorska (violin), Pavlna Dubn (violin) and Katerina Zkov (violoncello). They have been playing together from 2004 year. As the group Inflagranti they recorded their first album Rockmantica containing their own songs and interpretations of classical music (Vivaldi, Bach) as well as rock legends (Queen, Nirvana, Metallica, Led Zeppelin). They play Yamaha string instruments. In the period from 2004- 2007 years String ladies performed in many famous places in Czech Republic (Sazka Arena, Tip Sport Arena Liberec, Rock caf, Duplex.) Among the most prestigious events they took part were the Dance Awards, Miss, Bomton Cup, Gogo show, Hvezdy,kter nehasnou, Nikdo nen dokonal, Hockey Awards, Tt awards or fashion shows Natalia Ruden. The group is known for its outstanding combination of beauty and virtuoso playing both classical and electronic instruments. The girls are familiar faces to public due to their participations in many television programmes and numerous musical events. My guest for the interview today is Eliska Dvorska 1-st violin of the group. Y. P.: Eliska , please tell us about your group when and how you started? E. D.: We were friends from a school and conservatory. And we have been together as this group for nearly 6 years now. Y. P.: Are you from Prague? E. D.: Yes, we are all from Prague. Y. P.: What kinds of instruments and music do you play? E. D.: We play two violins and one cello and it is electric. We are open and try to play almost all styles. And we also play acoustic violins. Y. P.: In what places do you perform? Do you give concerts only in Prague? E. D.: No, no, noWe travel a lot. We played in many countries. We were in London. We went to South countries. Now we are going to Berlin next month. Y. P.: How often do you perform? E. D.: Now it is 3-4 times a week. Y. P.: Is it your usual lifestyle? E. D.: Yes, it is our main job but we also give private classes to children. Y. P. : What are your future plans? E. D. : We are trying to write songs. Y. P.: Good luck! We hope to hear them soon. |
